you can access files in two main ways, through either the web interface or the chosen file sharing protocol

===== web interface =====

simple file manager where you can:

  * upload
  * download
  * delete

files on the device.  files on the device remain encrypted.

===== sharing protocol =====

with beta-v2 files can be accessed (if enabled) through a trusted hosting application such as [[trusted hosting: smb]]; [[trusted hosting: sftp]]
